{"id":347,"date":"2016-02-10T10:51:39","date_gmt":"2016-02-10T09:51:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ccsp.it\/blog\/?p=347"},"modified":"2017-09-06T11:25:02","modified_gmt":"2017-09-06T09:25:02","slug":"recording-rock-art-fieldwork-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.ccsp.it\/blog\/?p=347","title":{"rendered":"Recording Rock-Art Fieldwork 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the wonderful framework of the Landmarks Valley, recognized as UNESCO heritage since 1979, the Centro Camuno of Studi Preistorici organize the annual recording rock-art fieldwork aims at the completion and integration of the documentation of the rock art in the middle Valcamonica.<\/p>\n<p>Following the previous recording rock.art fieldworks, also this year the works will continue in the area of <strong>Foppe di Nadro \u2013 Riserva naturale incisioni rupestri di Ceto, Cimbergo e Paspardo<\/strong> (Rock engravings Natural Reserve of Ceto, Cimbergo e Paspardo) <strong>(Valcamonica &#8211; Italy)<\/strong> (on the concession of the Soprintendenza Archeologia della Lombardia). The Recording Rock-Art Fieldwork aimed at the complete documentation of the rock art and environment in which is inserted.<\/p>\n<p>The fieldwork will follow this methodology and the participant can work in one or more of the following activities:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Identification of the rocks within the archaeological authorization and preparation of the rocky surfaces.<\/li>\n<li>Placing of the tracing sheets in nylon and recording.<\/li>\n<li>Recording with total station and georeferencing of the rocks.<\/li>\n<li>Archaeological photography of the engraved rocks.<\/li>\n<li>3D recordings of rocks and engravings (Structure from Motion).<\/li>\n<li>Digitization of the tracings, processing and recomposition with computer in laboratory.<\/li>\n<li>Catalogue, analysis and comparisons with archaeological sources.<\/li>\n<li>Post-processing of the data gathered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Period<\/strong>: 18-31 July<br \/>\n<strong>Available places<\/strong>: 15<br \/>\n<strong>Requirements:<\/strong> The fieldwork is addresses to everyone, priority will be given to students and graduates in archaeology or anthropology (or related fields) and with experiences in rock-art recording.<br \/>\n<strong>Deadline<\/strong>: curriculm and participation form has to be send by June 2016 to<a href=\"mailto:recording.rockart@ccsp.it\">recording.rockart@ccsp.it<\/a><br \/>\n<strong>Cost<\/strong>: The participation fee to the Fieldwork will be <strong>100 \u20ac<\/strong> plus the inscription to Centro Camuno di Studi Preistorici (<strong>40 \u20ac<\/strong>).<br \/>\n<strong>Lodging in Valcamonica<\/strong>: The lodging is at the \u201cGuest house\u201d of the Natural Reserve in Nadro with an agreed upon price of 10 \u20ac per night.
